Lets say you are looking for a website, (or you wanted your house painted, car detailed, needed to see a chiropractor or lawyer). Based on a few quotes you discover it is going to cost you $5000 to get the new website. Instead of writing a cheque for $5000, you can open an account with TradeLink and pay for the website by offering your services to the other members in the network, potential customers you do NOT presently have. The work you perform or product you sell to one member does not mean you have to take that person's goods in return, rather you can take the value of work you did and use that to purchase from any of the other members. TradeLink offers a back end banking platform that keeps track of who you worked for and how much they paid you as well as providing you with a market place to both offer services and shop for what you might want in return. In other words you are able to get your website done without spending hard earned cash and instead have it paid for with work you did in your spare time for another (non website developer) member entirely.
